About the Competition :The International Student AirRace competition
Student AirRace is Europe's first international drone racing competition created by and for students. Over the course of one exciting week, university teams from across Europe will come together in Munich to race, innovate, and connect through a shared passion for aerospace, robotics, and engineering. At the heart of the Student AirRace is the challenge to design, build, and fly your own drone.
Secured first place with outstanding technical expertise and FPV technical support
The NOVA Lab team not only participated but triumphed, securing 1st place and impressing the jury with their outstanding professionalism, refined design, and exceptional technical execution. After months of dedicated research and development, by using the CADDX Walksnail Goggles X, Avatar Pro Kit, and Avatar FPV VRX, the team unveiled Project AEROS, a high-performance racing “hyperdrone” that embodies their commitment to advancing the frontiers of aerial systems and competitive drone engineering. And despite an unexpected landing during the competition, the team’s swift and precise repair efforts showcased their resilience and technical mastery, allowing AEROS to return to the skies and deliver flawless performances in the subsequent races.

The Significance of Student AirRace
1.Networking, Fun, and the Competitive Spirit, the true highlight of the Student AirRace was the intense exchange and connectivity. The true purpose of the competition should be to foster close communication and collaboration among participants.

2.Promoting Intercultural Exchange, participants were able to share knowledge and forge valuable cross-border connections, this also aligns with our CADDXFPV philosophy: fostering human connection through FPV.

3.These stringent AirRace standards require competing teams to optimize the technical performance of their drones, thereby enhancing their technological maturity and operational safety. This undoubtedly provides teams with invaluable experience in tackling the complex challenges encountered in real-world industries.

Keep pushing forward, challenging the limits
Whether you're an experienced team or a student with a fresh idea, this competition offers you the chance to showcase your capabilities and push the boundaries of student-led aerospace innovation. That's precisely why The NOVA Lab team successfully secured first place in this competition. With a solid theoretical foundation and exceptional practical experience, they achieved outstanding results and honors. As an active advocate in the FPV imaging field, CADDX is deeply honored to witness and participate in this journey filled with passion and creativity. Exchange and progress define our relationship with these teams. We believe they will achieve even greater success in the near future, and we will continue to collaborate with promising teams, moving forward and challenging ourselves.
