The Ultimate Guide to Using the Avatar HD Goggles X Extension Module

 Text version tutorial:

  1. This extension module is only compatible with the Avatar Goggles X models that do not have built-in head tracking.
  2. It integrates the head tracking function and fixes the compatibility of some analog receivers.
  3. When installing the module, make sure the white connector faces forward.
  4. The shorter power cable connects to the goggles while the longer one connects to the module.
  5. The 5-pin end plugs into the goggles and the 4-pin end plugs into the module.
  6. The pins of the analog receivers can be inserted into any row of the module's connectors.
  7. Power on the Goggles X.
  8. Press and hold the return button for 5 seconds to switch to analog signal input mode.
  9. The Goggles X will now be able to receive analog signals.
  10. The extension module can be used with Avatar Moonlight VTX and GM gimbal to realize head tracking function.
  11. To use this function, you need to upgrade Goggles X and Avatar Moonlight VTX to version 38.43.4 or above.
  12. In the Goggles menu, select “PTZ” for head tracking.
  13. After the setting is completed, the gimbal will follow the Goggles posture movement.
  14. Click the return key three times quickly to return the gimbal to the center.
