The Ultimate Guide to Using the Avatar HD Goggles X Extension Module

- This extension module is only compatible with the Avatar Goggles X models that do not have built-in head tracking.
- It integrates the head tracking function and fixes the compatibility of some analog receivers.
- When installing the module, make sure the white connector faces forward.
- The shorter power cable connects to the goggles while the longer one connects to the module.
- The 5-pin end plugs into the goggles and the 4-pin end plugs into the module.
- The pins of the analog receivers can be inserted into any row of the module's connectors.
- Power on the Goggles X.
- Press and hold the return button for 5 seconds to switch to analog signal input mode.
- The Goggles X will now be able to receive analog signals.
- The extension module can be used with Avatar Moonlight VTX and GM gimbal to realize head tracking function.
- To use this function, you need to upgrade Goggles X and Avatar Moonlight VTX to version 38.43.4 or above.
- In the Goggles menu, select “PTZ” for head tracking.
- After the setting is completed, the gimbal will follow the Goggles posture movement.
- Click the return key three times quickly to return the gimbal to the center.
